Although Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine, the X-Men actor trains “the old-fashioned way,” despite the fact that his character may have mutant abilities.
As they get ready for the physically taxing film, which will be released next year, he has even been teasing his co-star Ryan Reynolds.
Jackman posted a “work-in-progress” picture of himself on Instagram as he prepares for the iconic role.

Later, in a separate post, Jackman flaunted his torn biceps, making fun of Reynolds in the caption.
He penned: He is only 46. I’m a senior. However, there is no competition.
However, the teasing was mostly harmless, and as their bromance has grown stronger over time, the pair frequently engage in social media banter.
It has only gotten worse as they get ready for Deadpool 3, in which Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as the mutant with metal claws after making his last appearance in Logan in 2017.
After all, what good is a little friendly rivalry among friends?

Jackman and Reynolds are such good friends that the Deadpool actor regularly slammed the Australian in advertisements for Reynolds’ Aviation Gin.
Putting aside the jokes, Jackman’s training regimen is serious business.
As he gets ready to return as Wolverine, the veteran action hero has been fueling his training with more than 6,000 calories per day.
Depending on their fitness level, the majority of adults should consume around 2000 calories per day.
Jackman’s refusal to use steroids and insistence on working out the “old fashioned way” exemplify his dedication to the role.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he talked about his strict diet and fitness routine and promised to be “bigger than ever.”
“No, I adore my work. I also adore Wolverine. I’ll have to be careful what I say here, but I’ve heard anecdotally about the negative effects. I thought to myself, “I don’t love it that much.” So no, I just did it the old-fashioned way, he informed the audience.

He went on to make fun of how much chicken he had eaten while following a clean eating diet.
He made a joke, adding, “I tell you, I’ve eaten more chickens — I’m so sorry to all the vegans and vegetarians and the chickens of the world.” Clearly, my karma is not favorable. I’m in trouble if the deity has anything to do with chickens.
