In 2020, the TikTok star opened up about her experience with Ozempic and how it affected her overall health. The drug was prescribed to her because she was pre-diabetic and insulin-resistant.

The 27-year-old went on to say, “I saw a doctor, and they were like, “It’s 100 percent because you went on Ozempic.” For so long, it was making me believe I wasn’t hungry. I’ve shed some pounds. I didn’t want to obsess over staying on it for a long time. I thought, “I bet the second I got off I’m going to get hungry again,” and I was right. When I did, my bingeing got even worse. As a result, Ozempic came to my mind.
As a drug that celebrities use to lose weight quickly, Ozempic has made headlines in recent months. However, Remi noted that she actually gained more weight when she stopped taking the medication, despite its negative effects on weight loss.
