Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta housewife Phaedra Parks, has tied the knot in person almost seven years after ending his turbulent marriage to the show: Star of the Ultimate Girls Trip
According to TMZ, Apollo and his new wife, Sherien Almufti, were married in October 2022, but they have only recently made their engagement public.
In Atlanta, Georgia, they were married in a small, intimate church ceremony in the company of close friends and family. According to the publication, Phaedra and the couple’s two children, Dylan and Ayden, were aware of the wedding but decided not to attend.
Throughout their time on RHOA, Apollo and Phaedra’s marriage and their 2016 divorce were major plotlines that received a lot of attention. Apollo is well-known for spending a lot of time in prison for money laundering more than $2 million and cashing forged checks.
Apollo, on the other hand, claims that he and Phaedra have reached a good place in their relationship, and that their primary goal is to raise their children together. That is quite the opposite of what he had previously stated, in which he stated that Phaedra “basically left me to die.”
Apollo is now prepared to begin a new chapter in his life with Sherien, whom he claims to have met nearly a decade ago. In point of fact, Apollo ran into Sherien while he was still in prison. In the same year that he and Phaedra ended their marriage, they got engaged.
